Explorer Club

We would love to welcome you to Explorer Club!

Explorer Club is for all children age 4 through 6th grade. We seek to train children through memorization, practical Bible lessons, and small group discipleship with the goal of equipping them with the core truths of the gospel so that they can grow in Christ.

Our theme is, "Exploring God's Word. Exploring God's Creation." God reveals Himself through special revelation, the Bible (2 Timothy 3:16-17; Hebrews 4:12). God also shows His power through general revelation, His creation (Psalm 19:1-4; Romans 1:20). We want to glorify God as we discover His attributes together.

In this video, Pastor Blake explains the distinctions of this program:

Our club meets from 6:30 p.m. through 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday nights during the school year.

In Explorer Club, we use the Kids4Truth curriculum. The strength of this program is that every child (from age 4 through 6th grade) will be learning the same truths and verses at the same pace. The verses will be scaled according to age and level of understanding.

Throughout the program, each child will learn the major themes of Scripture and will be equipped to apply God’s Word in practical ways. If you have children in multiple age groups, you will appreciate the ability to disciple all your children with the same verses each week.

Of course, there will be plenty of time for games and fun! At the end of most nights, we take a few minutes for Exploring God's Creation. This is a fun time where we show-and-tell that this universe (and everything in it) is not just an accident. God created everything for His glory.

If you are familiar with Awana, this program is very similar in concept, with an added layer of intentional discipleship for the entire family. From the moment we arrive until the moment we leave, every child and adult will be focused on the same truth from God’s Word and we will be learning practical ways to apply those truths to our lives.

We invite you to check it out! It is easy to jump in at the beginning, middle, or end of the year.

We also have an exciting program for teens called “Advance.” We meet on Mondays during the school year from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

If you are interested in registering your child for Explorer Club, you may print out these registration forms, complete them, and bring them to any Explorer Club meeting. There is a registration fee that helps offset the cost of the program. However, we do not want money to be a barrier for any kid joining us. Please let us know if we can help in this area.
