The role of church greeter is far more crucial than most people think. Without those warm and friendly faces extending the “hand of fellowship” to visitors young and old, the experience of visiting a church (for the first time or the thousandth) can be cold, friendless, and even repelling.

A Church Greeter Team is a vital part of the worship experience because they help prepare people to grow closer to God by letting them know that your church is happy guests are there!

If people do not know they are welcomed they can easily feel like it doesn’t matter if they are there… “No one cares anyway.” The church greeter team plays an important role in helping make a great first impression!
